![]() ![]() ![]() P.S: I found it: viewtopic.php?f=21&t=101771&hilit=+dnxhr+constant+īut that was with Premiere and a version older that 2022.and didn't concern alpha channel per se, but DNxHR in general.currently, constant bitrate is checked by default in Resolve, but After Effects 2022 indeed still reads black frames. I think it's about constant bitrate on or off for DNxHR. It's already been discussed, there is a solution. There is a known incompatibility on the side of Adobe, can't remember now exactly what parameter needs to be used, or whether it is on Rselove or Adobe side. We desperately need prores export on pc too. VNC player plays them back fine on the other hand. The PanoMap converts between different VR formats like the. In the first part of the tutorial, I will introduce the tools before going a little bit crazy by trying to convert a 2d photo into a low-res 360 video. And you can easily open this stuff in Adobe Premiere or AE, if you install free HQX codec.ĭesilence wrote:No matter the codec for video with alpha - exporting with v17 from a pc after effects / media encoder / everything Adobe just shows a black frame. Blackmagicdesign has added VR tools starting with Fusion 9 and DaVinci Resolve 15, which make it simple to work on 360 video projects. ![]() You'll have relatively very small files, near lossless quality, with full alpha channel support. There are other options that support exporting with alpha channel (like DNxHR 444 12-bit or GoPro Cineform RGB 16-bit), but I choose HQX for its superb quality to file size ratio. In the Video choose Quicktime > Grass Valley > HQX, and under the resolution select "Export Alpha". If you have v17, you still won't be able to render out transitions properly (until this gets fixed), but if you have no transitions, just go to the Deliver, mute Audio, unless you need it. But, anyways, if you have a single clip, or if you have a single compound clip with no transitions in it, go to the Deliver and switch Render to "Individual clips". It works the same way in v17, so compound clips have this major problem I don't know how to overcome. Does anyone know a workaround? Basically, all transitions will produce black background, when they are hidden under compound clip. Cause all transitions nested under a compound clip have a problem with transparency. With DaVinci Resolve on Mac systems, dual 4:2:2 Y’CbCr stereoscopic video streams are output via SDI from a compatible Blackmagic Design video interface. However, if you have some transitions there, it seems that there's no way to render this properly. In v16 (look in next paragraph for v17) it only works when you export "Individual clips" in Deliver page, so if you have more than just a single clip with alpha to be exported, then you gotta first combine these clips into a solid block, such as compound clip (select the clips for export, right click, choose New Compound Clip). ![]()
